By default on the credit card statement of the shopper "1pay.lu" appears. The software descriptor is freely configurable and is usually the name of the merchant.


If you wish to customize the hard descriptor (1pay.lu), please get in touch with your Account Manager and they are happy to set this up for you.


  • Visa: 25 characters: 12 positions for Merchant fixed name + 13 positions for Soft Descriptor
  • Mastercard: 22 characters – 9 positions for Merchant fixed name + 13 positions for Soft Descriptor
